About me:
I live in Ontario, Canada.
My name's Mr. Distance and I've been playing guitar, singing and composing for 10+ years. My father has been a lifelong musical inspiration and I consider him to be the best guitarist i've ever heard, as well as the person who helped shaped my musical tastes. From a young age I listened to: Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Marilyn Manson and many more. Now I'm 25 and have been pursuing a career in music more seriously since September 2023 when I decided to write my first album: "Moon Powered". The inspiration for this album came directly from quitting cannabis (Something that had plagued me for years) and the enormous rush of energy/ clarity that it gave me. I'm currently finishing up my new album "Strange Enough For Me"! The lyrics for this album were worked on for countless hours, and the chord progressions + melodies got the same treatment. I haven't really got much more to say at the moment other than thank you for listening! - Mr. Distance
